How Much School and How Much I Make?  For a CDL driver the training is short and the high paying careers in hundreds of industries will never require you to travel outside your home state.  In Nebraska, there are 8,000 jobs open statewide and 3400 jobs in Omaha. 

Context:  In 2023, only 39% of young men who had graduated from high school were enrolled in college, vs 48% for young women. Only 39% of 21-year-old men were working full-time in 2021 compared to 64% in 1980. Only 25% were financially independent from their parents compared to the earlier 42%.  This Challenge aims to inform and build a pipeline for students directly into fields not requiring a 4 year degree that provide high growth, high wage and potential for business ownership within 24 months of graduation.
