Competing in the Race with Tesla for Space!

Design a landing system companies can attach to different size space vehicles that make landing on non-flat surfaces when we may not know the density of the ground we are landing on.

Context

Context: Although vertically landing with a rocket on an improved, flat surface has been achieved by multiple launch vehicle companies (SpaceX, Blue Origin, & Masten Space), landing a rocket vehicle on an irregular, unimproved surface has a number of challenges including, but not limited to, the rocket sinking in the surface, the plume kicking up dust and creating an observable event, and the uneven footing causing the rocket to fall over.

Company Highlight:  The Lincoln, Nebraska based company, Virtual Incision, shows off their new small robot that allows surgeons on earth to perform complex surgeries in space.
